The Allstate Arena is located in Rosemount, Illinois and is the home of the Chicago Wolves of AHL, Chicago Rush of AFL and DePaul Blue Demons of the DePaul University. The Arena was originally intended to be used by the World Hockey Association's Chicago Cougars but the construction of the arena halted after the franchise was folded in 1975. Afterward the Village of Rosemount came to an agreement with the Ringling Bros- Barnum & Bailey Circus and MFG International to finance the completion of the arena with an issue of $19 million in bonds. The stadium was completed and opened in 1980 was named as Rosemount Horizon. The Arena management came to a naming rights agreement with the Allstate Insurance Company and renamed the stadium to "Allstate Arena" in 1999.
