Arlington Park is a world famous horse race tack which hosts some of the most celebrated and sought after tournaments including the "Arlington Million". The Park is t in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights in Illinois. Horse racing was a well rooted and a much popular sport among Chicagoans at the time of its opening in 1927 which has maintained its appeal even to this day.
The Arlington Park has been in the forefront of racing history being one of the pioneering race tracks that introduced technology and innovation. Among its most well-known introductions were, the public address system and the first electric totalisator introduced in 1933, the electric gate system in 1940, and the largest closed circuit TV system in all of sports in 1967.
